We are seeking a results-driven Rail Car Cleaning Manager to oversee and expand rail car cleaning operations. This leadership role focuses on operational efficiency, client relations, workforce planning, and overall service delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and optimize the scheduling of rail car cleaning jobs across multiple sites
  • Oversee crew performance through team leads and site supervisors
  • Ensure work is delivered safely, on time, and to client specifications
  • Develop and implement SOPs, safety procedures, and quality control measures
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and service consistency
  • Collaborate with senior leadership on forecasting, budgeting, and business development
  • Lead recruitment, onboarding, and training strategies for field personnel
  • Monitor KPIs, identify inefficiencies, and implement corrective actions
Qualifications
  • 5+ years experience in industrial services or rail logistics, with at least 2 in a management role
  • Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple moving parts
  • In-depth knowledge of safety, compliance, and environmental standards in industrial cleaning
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and client expectations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Valid driver’s license; ability to travel occasionally as needed
