A national non-profit organization is seeking a Major Gifts Officer to advance philanthropic priorities. This role involves conducting research, preparing proposals, and engaging with donors to support Paralympic sport in Canada. The successful candidate will thrive in a remote work environment while coordinating closely with fundraisers. Job Summary:
The Major Gifts Officer plays an important role in advancing the philanthropic priorities of the Paralympic Foundation of Canada. This position strengthens major gift fundraising by providing high-quality prospect research, compelling proposal development, and coordinated behind-the-scenes support across solicitation and stewardship efforts.
Collaborating closely with frontline fundraisers and foundation leadership, the Major Gifts Officer helps ensure that major gift prospects and donors are engaged with clear, strategic, and mission-aligned materials that demonstrate how philanthropy creates a more inclusive Canada through Paralympic sport.
This role is ideal for someone who is energized by national impact, enjoys turning complex Para sport systems into clear and compelling donor narratives, and takes pride in enabling transformative philanthropic partnerships behind the scenes.

Salary: $60,000 – $68,000 annually plus benefits
Reports: Executive Director, Paralympic Foundation of Canada
Location: Remote within Canada, with travel to CPC head office in Ottawa for occasional in-person meetings.
