A healthcare organization in Wetaskiwin is looking for a temporary Maintenance Worker II to assist with maintenance and repair tasks. The role involves routine maintenance of the building's systems and structures, requiring attention to detail and specific qualifications. Candidates must have Grade 10 completion, a valid driver's license, and preferably a Journeyman Certificate. The position includes a pay range of $27.00 - $29.47 per hour with work shifts covering days, evenings, and weekends.
Looking for a self-motivated, conscientious individual with an eye towards detail willing to join our team on a temporary basis to assist maintaining services and fulfilling work requests as directed by the Site Lead.
As a Maintenance Worker II, you may perform routine preventative and demand maintenance activities within the exterior and interior of the building. Under general supervision, you may perform a variety of semi-skilled maintenance and repair work on facility architectural, structural and mechanical systems/components to ensure safety and efficient operation of the building systems and equipment. You may perform a wide range of general maintenance duties including maintenance and repair of drywall, floors and painting. Additional duties may include minor plumbing repair; minor repairs on equipment; checks on equipment for pressure and temperature; and disassembly of equipment for cleaning.
Completion of Grade 10 or equivalent. Possession of a valid driver's licence. Power Engineer 5th Class Certificate required where boiler support is necessary.

Journeyman Certificate in a relevant trade, ability to read and interpret drawings, healthcare experience preferred but not required.
