Red River Co-op is recruiting for the position of Maintenance Technician at our Head Office in Winnipeg, MB. This position requires frequent travel to co-op food stores and gas bars in Winnipeg and the surrounding area. This position reports to the Facilities Manager.
About you: You have a minimum of 3 years of relevant trade experience or retail store management. You are highly motivated, able to work with little supervision, organized, and able to manage projects. You possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, can solve problems, and are a self-starter who can work independently.
Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, a valid Class 5 Manitoba Driver's License, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Construction certification or designation is an asset, as is experience with minor household renovations and construction repairs. Working hours are primarily Monday–Friday, with occasional weekends or evenings as required.
