A leading dairy company located in Oxford County, Woodstock is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor responsible for managing the maintenance team, ensuring performance objectives are met, and maintaining quality and safety standards. This role involves planning and coordinating work, engaging with employees, and participating in continuous improvement efforts. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on health, safety, and employee development. Knowledge of French is a requirement for certain positions.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor manages his work team and ensures that performance objectives (Health, Safety, Quality, Costs, Deadlines, Mobilization, Environment) are achieved in a collaborative culture. He participates in improving and maintaining the program of good preventive and predictive maintenance practices. He works in close collaboration with the workshop maintenance supervisor, the maintenance planner, the inventory coordinator, the reliability specialist, as well as the coordinators of other departments.
Manages maintenance employees with a focus on engagement, accountability, and skills development.
Plans, coordinates and supervises work through work orders in the CMMS and the issuance of various work permits.
Participates in work prioritization in collaboration with various plant stakeholders.
Participates in failure analysis, continuous improvement of operations, and initiates problem-solving with work teams.
Ensures compliance with health and safety, environmental, and sanitation programs and oversees compliance with and implementation of the quality plan (ISO, HACCP, SQF).
Take parts in performance meetings with the work team.
Actively participates in various plant committees and the implementation of various projects.
Approves and monitors hours worked, vacations, and schedules.

Supervisory Responsibilities
Responsible for employee relations including work direction of employees, training, performance reviews, administering policies and procedures, disciplinary action.
Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies, procedures and guidelines.
Understand and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices.
Safety Protocol
Stop any observed unsafe acts and obey facility safety rules and procedures.
Correct or report any observed safety hazards.
Support safety policies and programs.
