Job summary

A leading energy company is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance activities and ensure compliance with regulations at the North Battleford Energy Centre in Canada. The role involves coordinating with plant personnel for safety and reliability, managing third-party vendors, and leading problem-solving initiatives for plant performance. Ideal candidates will have 7+ years of experience in power generation and strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in managing direct employees.
  • 7+ years of experience in maintaining or operating power generation equipment.
  • Proficiency in Maximo, the Asset Management program used at the North Battleford Energy Center.
  • Scheduling experience and working knowledge of MS Project.
  • Asset management experience in the industrial environment.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure health and safety compliance for all employees and contractors.
  • Schedule and manage maintenance work, coordinating plant outages.
  • Oversee maintenance technicians, including scheduling and performance evaluations.
  • Standardize and improve predictive and preventative maintenance programs.
  • Manage the spare parts inventory and maintenance budgets.
