Job summary

A leading chemical manufacturer in Vaughan is seeking a Maintenance Clerk and MRO Buyer to manage spare parts and procurement processes within the maintenance department. The successful candidate will optimize stock management, generate purchase orders, and liaise with maintenance staff and vendors. Strong familiarity with procurement activities, plant experiences, and safety standards is essential. Ideal applicants will have at least 3 years in a similar role and proficiency in MS Excel and procurement software.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in plant procurement activities required.
• Experience with JDE/SAP strongly preferred.
• Working understanding of Microsoft Word and Powerpoint required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the spare parts program and stock room for the maintenance department.
• Generate all PO’s per request from maintenance department or the plant.
• Work with maintenance department to resolve procurement issues.
