Job description
Overview

Your daily pursuit is supporting a seamless, safe, and enjoyable experience at Jasper Skytram through the upkeep & maintenance of our attraction.

Compensation

The starting salary for this role is $21.00 per hour.

Start date

This is a full-time, year round role with an immediate start date.

Responsibilities
  • The Jasper Skytram is a 7 day a week operation; shifts may vary and include morning and evening shifts.
  • Contribute to the ongoing maintenance of the Jasper Skytram, while maintaining the highest standard of quality.
  • Perform daily Lift & Building Maintenance checks as assigned.
  • Maintain the upkeep of all buildings, grounds and lift terminals including snow shoveling and operation of snow clearing equipment.
  • Complete general repairs and assist Supervisors and Managers with major repairs.
  • Encourage and participate in safe work practices.
  • Assist on the lift as required.
  • Frequent interaction with coworkers, management and guests.
  • Provide visitors a high-quality experience and ensure a high level of customer service is given to each guest.
  • Report to the Mountain Manager and complete all projects and tasks as assigned.
Skills and experience
  • Prior maintenance experience an asset.
  • Previous trade experience an asset (basic carpentry, plumbing or mechanical).
  • Current Alberta Driver's License.
  • Self-starter who is able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Comfortable working at heights and in all weather conditions.
  • Able to speak, read, write and understand English.
  • Proven ability to work within strict policy/procedures and guidelines.
  • Lift operations experience an asset.
  • Leadership qualities.
  • Ability to take direction under stressful conditions.
  • First Aid Training an asset.
  • Able to lift up to 20lbs frequently and up to 100lbs occasionally.
