Overview

Responsibilities
- Mainframe QA Experience – 5+ years.
- Core Technical Skills : TSO / ISPF – strong working knowledge essential for navigating and managing mainframe environments
- JCL / DB2 – essential for understanding the testing mainframe applications
- VSAM & CICS – understanding of file systems and transaction processing
- SDSF – Monitoring job outputs and managing datasets
- Testing and QA Expertise : Strong grasp of functional, regression and SIT testing
- SDLC Knowledge
- Experience with Waterfall testing methodologies
- Test Case Design and Execution – ability to write and execute detailed test scenarios
- Working knowledge of HPALM, ServiceNow and JIRA
- Experience with mainframe system migration testing is an asset
- Soft Skills : Experience with providing identification and resolution of problems / issues
- Attention to Detail – catching subtle bugs in complex environments
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Strong organizational, creativity and perseverance skills
- Strong communication skills – collaborating and clear reporting of defects with DEV team
- Business / Domain Specific Knowledge : Experience with Banking and Everyday Banking products
- Ability to validate message formats used in financial transaction systems
- Experience with POS, ATM, e-Commerce, Credit Card, and Debit Card transaction processing is a strong asset
- Point of Sale and ATM Transactions – understanding of transaction flows, authorisation, settlement, and reconciliation processes
- Card Processing Systems – familiar with credit / debit card processing (EMV CHIP, MAG STRIPE, Tokenization and fraud detection)
- FIS Product Knowledge – experience with financial technology solutions such as A Connex, P Connex, FIS Payment One
