Overview

Reporting to the Transportation Manager, the successful candidate must thrive in a fast paced and ever-changing environment, while maintaining a high level of professionalism, accuracy, and detail. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a "can do" attitude. The successful candidate will play a key role in the Supply Chain Department at Cavendish Farms.

Qualifications
  • University degree or College diploma preferred.
  • 3-5 years of relevant Supply Chain experience is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite of applications and transportation management systems
  • Attention to detail, data integrity, and accuracy.
Responsibilities
  • Consolidating less than truckload shipments into full truck loads to maximize load factor.
  • Work closely with various departments to improve order sizes.
  • Execute order changes in the Transportation Management System, Mercury Gate.
  • Rate and tender loads to carriers.
  • Responsible to report on and drive improvements when load factor is below target.
  • Responsible for a use case around load consolidation automation.
