Qualifications

  • Proof of valid Covid19 vaccines, Flu Vaccine and WHMIS, CPR/First Aid.

Responsibilities

Job description

Our live in caregivers are an essential part of the team. They are required to live in the home of the clients for multiple weeks per month. You will have your own private room. Details on living arrangement will be provided upon hire.

You will be supported by our Care Manager (registered nurse) whose goal is to help you be successful. This current position is located in Mount Forest. This role is an ongoing full time position.

Typical duties
  • Personal services include toileting, bathing, and grooming
  • Provide light housekeeping
  • Assist with medication reminders
  • Prepare meals, and provide personal assistance with general living needs
  • Provide companionship and conversation
  • Follow care plan and complete documentation

Must haves
  • Demonstrated working experience with the elderly, knowledgeable with respect to their needs

  • All applicants must successfully pass the prescribed Police Vulnerable Sector Check last 6 months
  • Proof of valid Covid19 vaccines, Flu Vaccine and WHMIS, CPR/First Aid.
  • Reliable vehicle, insurance and a valid driver's license required.
