WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

The Liquor Co. 1977 is seeking a Shift Supervisor for a full-time permanent position at our Tillicum Liquor Store located at 3170 Tillicum Rd, Victoria BC V9A 7C5 (Tillicum Centre). Our ideal candidate will have flexible availability throughout the week (Monday to Sunday).

Applicants must be 19 years of age.

We are a people-first business with a strong focus on our customer and member needs. We are looking for alike-minded individuals to join our dedicated team. Our ideal Shift Supervisor is someone that will:

  • Lead and support the team by keeping tasks on track and promoting teamwork
  • Be the first point of contact for staff ensuring they have what they need to succeed
  • Address performance concerns professionally and uphold safety and service standards
  • Encourage team development through training, motivation and daily coaching
  • Ensure quality of produce by rotating stock, checking dates and removing unsellable items
  • Maintain attractive, well-stocked displays that follow merchandising plans and seasonal trends
  • Ensure cleanliness, safety and compliance with all health and sanitation standards
  • Assist with ordering, receiving and inventory control while supporting financial targets

Confidently step in for management when needed and help protect people, environment and property.

What you’ll be doing

The Shift Supervisor supports daily store operations by providing hands-on leadership during shifts and ensuring smooth, consistent delivery of customer service, safety and store standards. As a peer leader, they guide and motivate the team, help resolve day-to-day issues and contribute to a positive, productive and welcoming team environment.
