A regional health authority in Manitoba is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support clients in various healthcare settings, including Acute and Home Care. This temporary role requires active registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba (CLPNM) and certifications in Basic Life Support and Neonatal Resuscitation. Candidates should demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, a collaborative approach to care, and the ability to resolve conflicts effectively. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) applies the nursing process to support clients, residents, and patients in achieving and maintaining their optimum level of health within a people-centered care approach across Acute, Transitional, Personal Care Home (PCH), Primary Care, Public Health‑Healthy Living, and Home Care settings. The LPN works to full scope of practice, engages in ongoing education, and maintains competency in accordance with Southern Health‑Santé Sud policies, Professional Standards of Practice, the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba Code of Ethics, the Competency Profile for Licensed Practical Nurses in Manitoba, and the Regulated Health Professions Act. The incumbent exercises appropriate initiative and independent judgment in determining work priorities and methods, and takes action on unusual matters. The position functions consistently with the mission, vision, values, and policies of Southern Health‑Santé Sud.
Location: Bethesda Regional Health Centre / Bethesda Place, Steinbach. Position: Temporary, 0.57 FTE. Work arrangement: In Person. Daily hours: 7.75 & 11.625. Shift: Days, Nights, Weekends. Start/End: As mutually agreed upon – 07/10/2026. Salary: $33.23 – $42.69.
