Qualifications

• Registered and in good standing with BCCNM.
• Current CPR/First Aid Certificate required.
• Competent in electronic documentation and eMar.
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills are essential.
• Previous experience in Long Term Care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage resident admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Conduct resident assessments and care planning.
• Administer medications, treatments, and wound care.
• Utilize electronic documentation (Point Click Care) and MDS Assessments.
• Liaise with physicians, families, and care team members.
• Delegate tasks to unregulated care providers.
• Participate in Care Conferences and Medication Reviews.

Skills

Registered and in good standing with BCCNM

Sidney Care is located on Vancouver Island in sunny Sidney, BC and offers residential care to 54 clients. Sidney Care has been in operation for many years and provides a home‑like environment to its residents. The facility was recently renovated and is tastefully decorated.

Sidney Care works in collaboration with the Vancouver Island Health Authority to ensure quality care to all of our clients.

What You’ll Do

• Resident admissions, discharges, and transfers.
