Key Responsibilities

  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with BCCNM guidelines.
  • Monitor residents’ conditions, document changes, and notify families and physicians as needed.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver quality care.
  • Provide coaching and real-time guidance to care staff.
  • Participate in care planning, orientation, and staff training programs.
  • Ensure adherence to policies, emergency procedures, and confidentiality standards.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an approved Practical Nursing program and licensed with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
  • Valid Occupational First Aid Level 1 certification.
  • Previous experience in long-term care is an asset.
  • Proficiency in English and basic computer skills.
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 25 lbs.
