Anderson Sinclair Barristers & Solicitors in Kentville has an immediate opening for a Legal/Administrative Assistant to join our busy multi-practice Law Firm.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Manage the front desk, greet and direct clients, sort mail, arrange couriers, other administrative duties as required;
  • Support the Lawyers in the day-to-day conduct of clients’ legal affairs, document preparation, etc;
  • When necessary, assist with the day-to-day accounting tasks including but not limited to: accepting and processing debit/credit card payments, processing accounts receivable and payable, receipt of Trust funds, processing cheque requisitions, daily bank deposits.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Highly attentive individual who is organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment;
  • Strong analytical, drafting, and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail;
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with an experienced, supportive team;
  • Excellent computer skills, experience with programs such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel, and has the ability to learn new software quickly.
  • Experience in Legal Administration or Paralegal preferred.

Compensation based on experience and qualifications.
