A governmental health department in Whitehorse is seeking a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse for a permanent full-time position. The role involves supporting quality assurance in care for residents and clients, along with training staff in healthcare settings. Candidates must have current registration with a nursing authority and demonstrate experience in quality improvement processes. This posting will be used to fill 1 permanent full-time position working 75 hours bi-weekly. It will establish a 12-month eligibility list which may be used to fill similar positions. This role requires a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse who is eligible to work in Canada that meets the Essential Qualifications. This job is based in the thriving and diverse city of Whitehorse in the Yukon.
Reporting to the Manager of Quality & Risk Management, this position is responsible for supporting quality assurance, control, and improvement in the provision of care to residents and clients.
