Position: Lead Swing Stage Installer (NOC: 72014)

Company: Suspended Stages Inc.

Work Location: work construction sites in the lower mainland, BC

Vacancy: 1

Salary: $37.5 per hour

Overtime: After 40 hours per week at $56.25 per hour

Benefits: Extended health, dental, life, AD&D and long term disability insurance- after 3 months, 4% vacation pay every two weeks

Terms of Employment: Permanent/Full Time (40 hrs/week)

Requirements

· Completion of High School

· 1 year of experience in installation of suspended stages, rigging, moving and dismantling

· Some experience with maintenance of equipment used in the installations

· Fall Protection Training, Swing Stage Orientation, Microsoft Excel and outlook.

· Steel toed boots and hard hat.

Work Conditions: fast paced, physically demanding, working at heights, heavy loads, working in all seasons.

Duties:

· Supervise crew members involved in the installation, moving and dismantling of suspended stages

· Communicating with contractors regarding installing and set up of fall protection equipment

· Leading Toolbox meetings

· Perform rigging and de-rigging of stages as per safety protocols

· Schedule and coordinate work on the sites

· Liaison between site management and project management

· Read, interpret blueprints and ensure proper installations

· Communicate work assignment and other updates to crew members and workers

· Oversee loading and unloading of material

· Assist crew members with installations and dismantle as necessary

· Complete all required safety and site documents

· Address and resolve complaints

· Aide, guide, support crew members and workers as needed

· Assist with maintenance of equipment on job site or in the shop

· Purchase materials and tools and allocating /reporting expenses to the correct projects

· Perform other tasks as assigned
