Overview

Lead Customer Services Officer II – TD Equipment Finance (TDEF) – Montreal, Quebec, Canada. 37.5 hours per week. The role reports to the Manager Audit – TD Equipment Finance (TDEF).

Responsibilities
  • Book and fund Lease and Loan transactions in TDEF’s book of record (EKIP), ensuring compliance with TD Bank policy and procedures.
  • Leverage software applications to ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions; maintain knowledge of T-Value, PPSA / RDPRM requirements, and AML / KYC procedures.
  • Review standard / complex documentation for accuracy; verify Insurance coverage aligns with bank / credit conditions; ensure Vendor / Client banking details are compliant; validate EKIP inputs prior to booking and prepare wires to initiate funding.
  • Review PPSA / RDPRM registrations for accuracy / perfection; obtain and execute waivers as required.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Credit departments to facilitate transactions and resolve issues; participate in Special Projects as assigned.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service; pursue cross-training; participate in performance management processes (reviews, feedback, coaching) and development discussions.
  • Contribute to a positive, diverse workplace; assist with administrative tasks as needed; maintain attention to detail and align with Bank and Industry Codes of Conduct.
Qualifications
  • 5+ years Equipment Finance experience required.
  • College or University degree preferred.
  • Bilingual in French and English.
  • Independent, self-sufficient with decision-making within DLs; strong knowledge of financing structures and ability to coordinate a high volume of transactions daily.
  • Strong attention to detail (accuracy targets), organizational procedures / policies, and leadership potential to mentor junior staff.
  • Excellent oral and written communication; strong time management; ability to multitask and work in a collaborative team environment.
  • Solid Microsoft Office skills.
