We are looking for a Laboratory Sanitation Technician in 90 Gough Rd, Markham, ON L3R 5V5 CAN. Your mission will be to:
Purpose (Objective): This position is responsible for providing basic assistance to the operations of the laboratory washing containers used in the process of testing.
Main activities:
This is a PT temporary position.
Profile: This position requires the ability to follow specific instructions. Highschool diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
Required skills: The incumbent performs routine tasks that follow established procedures. The incumbent uses knowledge of the area and the advice of the supervisor to solve problems. Established guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures provide information to determine the correct preparation techniques.
Management: None
Work Environment: The incumbent works in a laboratory with proper lighting and temperature control. Occasional exposure to laboratory fumes, chemicals, and materials will occur when in the laboratory. The incumbent works in a laboratory with increased temperatures near the autoclave and washer. Safety equipment of gloves, laboratory coat and eyeglasses may need to be worn. Frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds may be necessary. The incumbent can expect extended time spent in a standing position.
Compensation Package Overview: Compensation Range $19.00-$22.00/Hourly CAD
