Alberta Precision Labs (APL) is looking for a Medical Laboratory Assistant I to work in a fast-paced, public-facing Patient Service Centre (PSC). This individual will be required to follow lab processes and procedures, perform venipuncture, ECGs on registered outpatients and community patients, and monitor wait times to ensure we are providing best service to our patients.

Description

As a Medical Laboratory Assistant I, you will provide high-quality service to clients of the clinical laboratory in an effective, efficient, and safe manner. You will be responsible for a variety of laboratory functions, including procurement, handling, processing, dispatching, and testing of specimens, performing procedures, and reporting results.
