The Junior Service Advisor is one of the dealership’s front-line customer relations representatives. The job encompasses performance in customer service requests and concerns, achieving service sales objectives and accurately completing administrative duties in a timely manner.

The main responsibilities include:

  • Promptly meet and greet service customers in a friendly and courteous manner and make every reasonable effort to make the entire service experience as pleasant as possible
  • Sell only appropriate maintenance services and repairs related to the customer’s vehicle and as directed by the customer
  • Ensure accuracy of customer information on file as well as accuracy of information regarding the concern, cause and correction on the repair order
  • Listen to the customer’s reasons for bringing their vehicle to the service department
  • Provide accurate quotes for all services and repairs recommended when additional needed repairs are found during the repair process
  • Continual learning and education
  • Meet or exceed key performance indicators for the position

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year experience as a Service Advisor/Service Writer or a minimum of 3 years experience as a Parts Advisor at a dealership
  • Passion for providing an outstanding customer experience
  • Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills
  • Valid class G driver’s license with no major convictions
  • Enjoy multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable with a computer-based scheduling environment and easily learn new software
  • Willingness to continually learn and improve skills
  • Ability to work Saturdays as part of regular schedule
