Job summary

Your Responsibilities
  • Assist in day-to-day portfolio monitoring, trade execution support, and position management in the broadly syndicated loan market
  • Maintain and enhance models for liquidity, capital inflows / outflows, performance attribution, and stress testing
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for internal stakeholders, senior leadership, and clients on portfolio performance, risk exposures, and market insights
  • Conduct ongoing research on credit markets, sector trends, and investment opportunities to support investment decision-making
  • Work closely with the Senior Portfolio Investment Analyst and collaborate with colleagues across credit, operations, risk, finance, and distribution teams
  • Identify and implement efficiencies in portfolio analytics, reporting, and data management processes
Experience Requirements
  • 2-4 years of relevant professional experience in capital markets, investment management, or a related financial services field
  • Direct exposure to fixed income, credit markets, or syndicated loans is highly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience with financial modeling, portfolio analytics, and performance measurement
  • Previous involvement with private wealth or retail investment fund structures is an asset
  • Experience working in a collaborative, team-based environment with cross-functional stakeholders
Qualification Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or a related field
  • Strong proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; familiarity with financial data platforms is an asset
  • Progress toward or completion of CIM, CFA, or equivalent designation is preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information clearly and concisely
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
