Overview

Type of position: Regular

Your future role on our team

As a designer, you’ll participate in engineering projects, technology selection and the execution of projects in the mining, hydropower and heavy industry sectors. Working at our Québec City office, you’ll play a key role in all phases of engineering projects and produce high-quality technical deliverables. With us, you’ll get the opportunity to:

• Design systems and equipment in 3D
• Work with point clouds (3D scanning)
• Select equipment for mining, industrial and hydropower applications
• Create layout drawings of mechanical equipment and systems
• Perform onsite technical information surveys
• Perform detailed calculations
• Assist more experienced personnel with the technical aspects of complex tasks
• Prepare plans and specifications based on guidelines

• Available for short assignments at client sites
• Fluency in spoken and written French
• Asset: experience in the heavy industry sector (mining, petrochemicals, energy, etc.)
• Asset: fluency in spoken and written English
• Asset: knowledge of SolidWorks, Revit, SmartPlant 3D, CADWorx, Ansys and AutoCAD applications
• Asset: knowledge of piping, welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, welded assemblies and structural design
