As a year-round intern, you will be fully integrated into a team and regularly contribute to impactful deliverables. Your designs and code will help solve complex technical challenges at Amazon.

The JDP is a year-round internship program designed to support a strong balance between work and school. Flexible part-time schedules during the school year and full-time employment over the summer create an environment where students can succeed both academically and professionally. In Victoria, an established Jr. community fosters meaningful connections between you and your peers.

Our team is currently looking for students to start with our March 2026 cohort. Upon successful completion of the program, the opportunity for full-time employment may be available at an Amazon corporate site.

  • 1:1 mentoring with an experienced Amazonian
  • Bi-annual performance reviews designed to support ongoing growth and development
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university Bachelor's or Master's degree program.
  • Graduating June 2028 and beyond.
  • Ability to work year‑round until graduation (part‑time during the school year and full‑time during the summer).

  • Ability to work in person year‑round at the Victoria corporate office. (This role is not offered remote or hybrid and all working hours must be in office).
  • Must be living within commutable distance to Victoria, BC.
  • Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, Python, or C++ including object‑oriented design.
