Riello is seeking a Jr. Electrical Design Engineer.

Role Responsibilities
  • Prepare project specific as-built electrical drawings by modifying base templates
  • Be proficient with Autocad/Autocad Electrical
  • Read and understand customer electrical specifications and implement necessary components into burner panel designs to meet customer functional requirements
  • Source and select components from various vendors. Generate specification drawings and prepare documentation for purchasing team
  • Work and make decisions independently and under guidance of the sr. electrical engineer
  • Prepare instructional blueprints used by production staff to build and modify base panels
  • Maintain expert level knowledge on a variety of electronic controllers integrated on our products and the ability to navigate their interfaces and factory programming
  • Be able to integrate various controllers correctly into the wiring drawings
  • Provide technical support and guidance to production staff on questions and issues arising during build and testing phases
  • Maintain expert knowledge on electrical codes and be able to navigate code books related to electrical, electrical panels, and UL
  • Maintain expert level product knowledge on the design and operation of all Riello products
  • Maintain expert level familiarity with the design and operation of our products, safety systems, and awareness of national codes related to combustible fuels
  • Engage in continuous learning
Role Purpose
  • Work independently day-to-day generating wiring packages for each production order
  • Assist Sr. electrical engineer with various custom projects and new products
  • Support other members of the applications engineering team, including ad not limited to document creation, basic mechanical drawings, administrative support, answering customer support calls etc.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 6+ months in an electrical engineering role or a 2-year diploma with at least 2+ years in an electrical engineering role
  • 2+ years of experience working knowledge with Microsoft suite: Windows 11, Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams)
  • 2+ years of experience working with Autocad/Autocad Electrical
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of Electric Motors and Power Systems
Pay Range

The expected base salary range for this role is between $71,500 and $121,500. The rate of pay may be impacted by factors such as the applicant’s geographic location, market data/range, skills, prior relevant experience, job-related knowledge, specific degrees and certifications, and/or other relevant considerations.

Other Compensation

This role may also provide the opportunity to earn additional incentive compensation in the form of annual bonus, sales bonus, sales commission or local incentive. If the role provides for an opportunity to earn additional incentive compensation, it will be based on measurable performance factors which may include company performance, individual performance or other key performance indicators.

Technology-enabled tools may support parts of the recruitment process, with oversight by people.
