Location: 5345 275 St, Langley Twp, BC V4W 3X8
Wage: $20.40/hour
Shift: To be discussed in interview

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of the production floor and surrounding area
• Perform daily cleaning and sanitation of offices, hallways, lunchrooms, washrooms, and common areas
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish surfaces to maintain cleanliness standards
• Empty and sanitize trash bins, recycling containers, and disposal areas
• Operate cleaning equipment (e.g., floor scrubbers, vacuums, buffers) safely and efficiently
• Replenish supplies in restrooms, kitchens, and common areas
• Maintain exterior areas such as parking lots, sidewalks, and building entrances to ensure they are free of litter, debris, and hazards
• Follow established cleaning schedules and checklists
• Monitor and report any safety hazards, damages, or maintenance issues to management
• Support special cleaning projects as assigned
• Collect waste and recyclable materials from production area and dispose of them
• Assist in the cleaning of any major spills of liquid or dry product as needed
• Perform specialized cleaning procedures in accordance with master sanitation schedule
• Adhere to cleaning procedures in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices Standards and Health and Safety guidelines
• Comply with all applicable legislative and Wonderbrands Bakeries food safety, health and safety and environmental policies and procedures

Qualifications

• Be a lover of bread and baked goods!
• Have previous experience in a manufacturing environment (food manufacturing preferred)
• Have previous experience in sanitation (industrial sanitation preferred)
• Be comfortable working with sanitizing agents and chemicals
• Have strong attention to detail and be able to meet cleanliness standards set by the company
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, be self-reliant, and be energized by opportunities to learn and grow, and be a steward of your own career
