Overview

The Jr. Technical support role is required for day-to-day support of equipment in the logistics environment.

Responsibilities
  1. Serves as first point of contact for DC / FC users seeking IT support
  2. Aims to resolve a significant portion of incidents and fulfill routine service requests directly
  3. Act as communication bridge between the operations and various support teams to facilitate smooth information flow and effective problem resolution
  4. Manage release of planned outages and upgrades to ensure successful implementation
  5. Assist with supporting Microsoft Windows and its office products
  6. First level support of all office printers in preventive and remedial capacity.
  7. When unable to resolve an issue themselves, escalates incidents and complex service requests to the appropriate global support and specialist teams
  8. All other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Technical / Business School, technical certification accepted in lieu.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role OR 1-2 years of DC experience with technical certifications will be considered in lieu.
  • Working knowledge of networking (wifi), VDI, Windows 10 / 11 OS, O365, ServiceNow.
  • Experience with Inventory management is ideal.

Frequent periods are spent standing or sitting in the same location with some opportunity to move about. Occasionally required to stoop or lift light material or equipment.
