How you’ll make a difference

Responsibilities
  • Support critical IT projects by assisting with system migrations, workstation refreshes, and endpoint management — ensuring seamless execution during project timelines.
  • Enhance day-to-day operations by troubleshooting 2nd-tier support issues and resolving technical challenges quickly so our teams can stay productive and connected.
  • Strengthen system security by assisting with server audits, group policy reviews, and monitoring security logs, contributing to a secure and compliant IT environment.
  • Collaborate across teams by working closely with the Systems and Network specialist, Systems and Support Specialist, and other departments, ensuring smooth coordination and communication firmwide.
Qualifications
  • Experience: Minimum 3+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or a similar technical role. Experience in a professional services or multi-office environment is an asset.
  • Education: Diploma or degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
  • Required skills and experience:
  • Hands-on experience with Windows Server administration, including Remote Desktop Services (RDS) / Windows Terminal Server, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Azure / Entra ID, Intune setup, configuration, and support
  • Working knowledge of security best practices
  • Familiarity with Fortinet products (firewalls, switches, access points) and basic networking protocols (TCP / IP, DHCP, DNS)
  • Experience troubleshooting 2nd-tier issues, including sync errors, mail flow problems, and remote access challenges
  • Strong Proficiency of PowerShell scripting and automation tools is an asset
  • Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills with a client-focused mindset
