Job Summary

As the IT Lead at Sasquatch Mountain Resort, you’ll play a crucial role in keeping our resort operations running smoothly through technology. From maintaining on-mountain cameras and WiFi systems to troubleshooting Point of Sale (POS) software and supporting staff with IT challenges, this is a hands-on role that ensures the seamless delivery of guest and staff experiences. You are a front-line staff member, problem solving and providing excellent customer service to create an inclusive experience, united by adventure and empowered by community.

Job Specifications
  • Wage: Based on experience
  • Schedule: Full-time, including weekends and holidays
  • Skill Level: Intermediate to advanced IT support
  • Reports To: General Manager & Entabeni System Administrator
Job Responsibilities
  • Provide lead support across all IT operations on the mountain
  • Troubleshoot and maintain resort-wide systems, improving performance and recommending changes
  • Work closely with Entabeni System Administrator to ensure successful operation of resort platforms and POS software
  • Assist GM with lift ticket sales monitoring, programming, and inputting
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot on-mountain cameras, including wiring, alignment, and upgrades
  • Maintain and support resort-wide WiFi networks (mountain, resort base, condos, accommodations)
  • Collaborate with Barnett Systems on troubleshooting, system upgrades, and hardware/content installs
  • Maintain and manage IT assets across the mountain
  • Troubleshoot and maintain on-mountain POS systems and cash machines
  • Generate reports through Entabeni, Barnett, and other operational systems
  • Assist Marketing team with website maintenance, content uploads, and troubleshooting
  • Perform other IT-related duties as assigned
Job Requirements
  • Strong background in IT systems support and troubleshooting
  • Experience with POS systems and reporting software (Entabeni/Barnett experience an asset)
  • Knowledge of networking, WiFi setup/maintenance, and hardware installation
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
  • Comfortable working outdoors and on-mountain in all weather conditions
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
