The Ontario Cannabis Store (OCS) provides safe, responsible access to recreational cannabis for adults 19+ and operates Ontario’s sole legal online cannabis store and provincial wholesale distribution network.

About the Role

OCS is seeking an IT Architect to join our IT Enterprise Architecture team, supporting solution design and delivery across enterprise and digital platforms. This role focuses heavily on Microsoft technologies , translating business requirements into scalable, integrated solutions.

You will work across platforms including Microsoft Power Platform, Dynamics 365, ERP systems, Azure services, ecommerce, and B2B integrations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design end-to-end architecture solutions aligned to business requirements
  • Translate business needs into functional and technical solution designs
  • Support architecture documentation, standards, and governance
  • Collaborate with business analysts, platform managers, and delivery teams
  • Assess system changes and impacts across applications, data, and integrations
  • Support implementation, testing, go-live, and post-launch activities
  • Act as a subject matter expert across enterprise systems and integrations
Required Experience & Skills
  • Experience as a Solution Architect or Senior/Principal Software Developer
  • 5+ Years Strong Microsoft experience, including:
    • Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse)
    • Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and integrations (Dual Write, APIs)
    • ERP systems (Finance, Supply Chain, Merchandising)
    • Azure services (Logic Apps, Service Bus, Data Factory)
  • Solid understanding of integration patterns, enterprise architecture, and governance
  • Experience with Intelligent Order Management (IOM) is an asset
  • Ecommerce, B2B, and WMS integration experience preferred
  • Microsoft certifications (Power Platform, Azure) are an asset

Compensation

The target hiring range for this position is $100,000 - 118,000. Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
