The Department of National Defence (DND) is seeking IT professionals to serve in Ontario outside the National Capital Region. This process identifies candidates for the IT needs of the Ontario Region within DND and CAF.
Intent of the process:
A pool of qualified candidates may be established to staff identical or similar positions with various employment tenures, languages, and conditions of employment at DND and Canadian Coast Guard.
In line with Treasury Board Secretariat direction, DND has adopted a common hybrid work model (designated worksite at least 3 days per week or 60% of schedule).

Education
ED1. Graduation from a two-year post-secondary program with relevant IT specialization. Note: there are transitional provisions for certain indeterminate incumbents and manager-approved alternative combinations of education/training/experience. An acceptable combination may be considered as an alternative to the minimum education in some cases.
Experience
EX1. Experience developing software solutions on multiple platforms (e.g., C#, React, Oracle APEX; other platforms as applicable).
EX2. Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, V-Model, iterative).
