We are looking for a mid‑level iOS Engineer to join Lime’s Rider organization. In this role, you will own features end‑to‑end, contribute to the quality and evolution of our iOS codebase, and work closely with product, design, and backend teams to ship reliable, high‑impact experiences used by millions of riders. You will be responsible for making sure our app is beautiful, easy‑to‑use, and can scale to millions of happy users.

This is a remote position with a requirement for candidates residing in Canada to maintain effective collaboration across teams.

What you’ll do

• Build, ship, and maintain user‑facing iOS features used at global scale
• Own medium‑size features or components from design through production
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable Swift code
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Backend Engineers
• Participate actively in code reviews, design discussions, and technical planning
• Debug production issues and contribute to improving reliability and performance
• Improve existing code through refactoring, simplification, and tech‑debt reduction
• Learn and apply best practices in iOS architecture, testing, and performance

About you

• 2+ years of professional iOS development experience, and a track record of building impactful products or systems.
• Strong proficiency in Swift and UIKit.
• Experience with mobile testing frameworks and services.
• Passionate. You’re passionate about Lime's mission and micro‑mobility; you want to see cities transform to become people‑centric and less polluted.

Preferred Experience

• Performance tuning, memory optimization
• CI/CD pipelines and release processes
• Experience working on consumer apps at scale

The salary range listed reflects what Lime reasonably expects to offer for this role, with the final base salary determined by factors such as the candidate’s location and relevant skills and experience. Depending on the position, the total compensation package may also include discretionary annual performance bonus opportunities and equity, subject to applicable plan terms and eligibility requirements.
