A global leader in sustainable engineering is seeking an Intermediate Hydrotechnical Engineer to join their team in Markham, Ontario. You'll be responsible for developing hydrodynamic models and preparing technical reports, while collaborating effectively in multi-disciplinary teams. This role requires a graduate degree in Engineering and at least 5 years of experience in relevant fields. Strong communication and project management skills are essential.
We are seeking an Intermediate Hydrotechnical Engineer to join our Markham office, with consideration for other Ontario locations. You will be part of the Water Resources Technical Team within Stantec’s Environmental Services Business Line.
Graduate degree in Engineering with a focus on hydrodynamics, water resources, or hydrology
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in consulting or regulatory environments
Mining experience is an asset, specifically mine water balances and mine water management.
Regular use of hydrodynamic modeling tools
Professional registration with PEO or PGO eligibility to obtain P.Eng. or P.Geo.
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather

Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
