Overview

Experienced, registered civil engineer (P. Eng). Join Teletek Structures to work on 5G wireless technology projects and mentor junior engineers in a growing telecommunications engineering team.

We design, build, and maintain telecommunications infrastructure for major networks. With the expansion of 5G, carriers will require more wireless sites, and you will contribute to successful outcomes for these projects.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and coach junior engineers; contribute to their learning and team development.
• Apply civil engineering expertise to telecommunications infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with the team to drive projects forward with leadership and strong interpersonal skills.
• Work on projects related to 5G wireless technology and related telecom infrastructure.
• Occasional travel to visit clients or project sites (about once per month).

Qualifications

• Registered professional engineer (P. Eng) in civil engineering
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an accredited university
• Experience in telecom/telecommunications infrastructure (2-5 years preferred) and/or power industry
• Valid driver’s license for travel to job sites and client visits

Details

This is a full-time permanent position, Monday to Friday, 8 am – 5 pm (with some overtime). Occasional travel about once per month. Benefits and an annual performance-based bonus plan. Two weeks vacation plus the week off between Christmas and New Year’s.
