A community service organization located in Sault Ste. Marie is seeking a dedicated individual for a 3-month fixed term contract in a women's residential setting. The successful candidate will support clients through intake, case management, and referrals. Applicants must have a degree in social sciences, one year of relevant experience, and excellent communication skills. Bilingualism is an asset. The position offers working hours including weekdays, evenings, and weekends, ensuring flexible client support.
3-month fixed term contract position, renewal pending funding 35 hours per week at $24.20-$26.51/hr. Must be willing to work weekdays, evenings, weekends, and overnights.
JHS has been providing services in the community for 57 years. We are a multi‑service agency that partners with other agencies to improve our community members’ quality of life. The successful candidate will offer support to clients within a 24/7 women’s residential setting, including intake, case management, and referrals. This position will collaborate with members of an interdisciplinary team to plan, implement, coordinate, and evaluate client care. This role will also respect and protect the rights of clients.
