Job summary

A leading mining company in Northeastern Ontario is seeking an Integrated Operations Planner. In this role, you will lead the development and execution of production schedules, ensuring safety and productivity. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s Degree, 5–7 years of experience in mine planning, and proficiency in planning software. This position includes a rotating schedule of 14 days on-site with accommodations and meals provided.

Your Next Challenge
  • Reporting to the Integrated Operations Manager, you will be part of the Integrated Operations Department. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.
  • Lead the development and execution of the 24-hour mine-to-mill production schedule based on weekly plans.
  • Monitor real-time operational performance and adjust schedules to optimize productivity and maintain safety standards.
  • Coordinate across Mine Operations, Maintenance, Drill & Blast, Crushing, Processing, Construction and Infrastructure teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Analyze operational data to support decision‑making and develop performance dashboards and reports.
  • Manage and optimize key inventories including ROM stockpiles, crushed ore, and waste dumps.
  • Facilitate daily planning meetings and provide production status updates to cross‑functional teams.
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams to prioritize repairs and preventive maintenance activities.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives across the mine-to‑mill value chain.
What You Need to Succeed
  • Bachelor’s Degree with 5–7 years of relevant experience;
  • Proficiency in mine planning software (e.g., Minesight, Deswik, Vulcan) and data tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau);
  • Understanding of process plant operations and maintenance planning.
Your Work Schedule

Schedule: 14 days of work, followed by 14 days for transportation and rest; Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides transportation to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.
