Overview

On behalf of our GoC Defence client, S.i. Systems is searching for an Int SAP Event Management Functional Analyst to provide Supply Chain Visibility.

Secret clearance and the ability to attain Controlled Goods clearance is required. Performed remotely, this contract shall start ASAP and last until March 31st, with several years of renewal possible.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and maintain SAP Event Management (SAP EM) for tracking logistics and supply chain processes.
• Define event handler structures and monitor steps for key processes such as order fulfillment, goods issue, goods receipt, and shipment visibility.
• Integrate SAP EM with SAP TM, EWM, MM, and third-party logistics systems.
• Develop and implement event messages and alert frameworks for real-time tracking of operational milestones.
• Support incident resolution and analyze event data for issue trends or system failures.
• Collaborate with functional teams and end users to define event tracking requirements and KPIs.
• Produce functional documentation, including business process procedures, configuration specifications, and interface requirements.
• Provide ongoing knowledge transfer, user guidance, and participate in workshops as directed by the Technical Authority.

Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with SAP Event Management configuration and support.
• Proven ability to integrate SAP EM with SAP TM, EWM, or external systems via IDocs, BAPIs, and PI/PO middleware.
