A insolvency solutions firm in Mississauga is seeking an experienced Insolvency Administrator. The role involves preparing documents, reviewing claims, and managing bankruptcy engagements. Candidates should have at least 1 year of experience and strong attention to detail. This full-time position offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities to engage in various insolvency tasks.
Main Job Duties:
· Preparing sign-up documents
· Filing new estates and estate administration forms
· Issuing stay of proceeding notices as required
· Reviewing and entering proofs of claim
· Administering bankruptcy or proposal engagements, including but not limited to:
o Monitoring consumer proposals (acceptance & rejection)
o Monitoring duties of a bankrupt
o Monitoring monthly income reporting and determining if surplus income payments are required
o Monitoring status of and completing counselling sessions
o Drafting minutes of meeting of creditors
o Monitoring performance of proposals and issuing annulments as required
o Being able to communicate effectively with creditors, debtors and various third parties
o Other insolvency estate and administrative duties as required.
Experience and Qualifications:
o Minimum of 1 year of consumer-focused insolvency administrator experience
o Attention to detail and able to multi task
o Ability to work in a fast-past environment
o Experience with Ascend and Microsoft Office
o Completion of Insolvency Counsellor’s course is an asset
