Job Description:

The IT Business Analyst will serve as a liaison between business units and IT, ensuring smooth communication and effective solutions for process improvement. This role involves gathering requirements, analyzing data, and supporting the implementation of technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency. The analyst will also play a key role in user training, reporting, and providing technical support across multiple systems.

This position requires someone who is detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and highly dependable. It includes second-line support responsibilities, on-call availability, and involvement in special projects that require technical and organizational expertise.

Please note this position is located onsite in Wilmington, OH.

What You Will Do
  • Collaborate with business leaders to capture requirements and translate them into actionable IT solutions.
  • Manage projects from concept through implementation, including ROI analysis and process improvement tracking.
  • Provide second-line technical support for software, hardware, printers, phones, and networking issues.
  • Analyze and consolidate data from multiple systems to generate business reports and metrics.
  • Develop training materials, forms, and documentation for end-users.
  • Train staff on the use of equipment, software, and new systems.
  • Consult with management to assess IT needs, system capacity, and priorities.
  • Recommend and manage technology acquisitions, upgrades, and budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with data accuracy, security, and regulatory standards.
  • Provide guidance to end-users on selecting, procuring, and maintaining IT systems.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of IT business analysis and project management experience.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Access).
