REPORTS TO: Maintenance Supervisor

LOCATION: Brandon, Manitoba

SHIFT AND HOURS: Mon-Fri (10:30pm-7am)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform preventive maintenance on processing equipment as required
• Perform repairs to processing equipment as required
• Perform preventive maintenance on building mechanical systems as required
• Perform repairs to building mechanical systems as required
• Troubleshooting and problem solving
• Use of computerized maintenance management system

PREFERRED HIRING CRITERIA

• Red Seal Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Certificate is required
• Minimum two years of experience as a Millwright, preferably in a food production facility
• Experience must have been in the previous 5 years
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Highly motivated, able to work well with minimal supervision

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Environmental work conditions can range from a cool environment, to one that is hot and wet
• Will be required to work outdoors in all seasons
