As an industrial hygienist, you will collaborate with a team of occupational health and safety advisors and technicians. You will be responsible for managing assessment projects in various workplaces (factories, government buildings, office buildings, etc.), establishing sampling strategies tailored to client needs, and submitting reports including recommendations and follow-ups.
Your responsibilities
- Analyze client needs and prepare occupational hygiene service proposals.
- Coordinate field interventions.
- Define sampling strategies and support technicians in data collection and the use of measuring equipment.
- Conduct industrial hygiene studies (qualitative and quantitative) for various chemical, physical, or biological contaminants.
- Interpret collected data and prepare assessment reports with recommendations.
- Write industrial hygiene programs and work procedures.
- Provide training to clients.
- Support management in carrying out projects and developing initiatives.
Required Skills
- University degree in industrial hygiene or health, safety, and the environment.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Excellent knowledge of provincial and federal industrial hygiene legislation.
- Fluency in French (oral and written) and good knowledge of English.
- ASP Construction certification (general health and safety on construction sites).
- Valid driver’s license and vehicle in good condition.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work to tight deadlines.

Working Conditions
- 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday (occasionally weekends).

- Salary based on experience, starting at $69,100 per year.
