About Cheekbone Beauty

Cheekbone Beauty is a proudly Indigenous-owned cosmetics company committed to sustainability, representation, and empowering Indigenous youth. We are offering a remote, paid student placement for an Indigenous student who wants to gain hands‑on experience in sales support, customer service, and administration.

This placement is funded through the First Nations and Inuit Youth Employment Strategy (FNIYES) student placement stream.

Who Is Eligible

To be considered for this placement, you must:

  • Identify as First Nations (ordinarily resident on reserve) OR Inuit living outside your territory
  • Be 15–30 years old
  • Have been enrolled as a secondary or post‑secondary student in the previous academic year
  • Intend to return to school next academic year
  • Be legally entitled to work in Canada

Remote students anywhere in Canada are encouraged to apply.

What You’ll Do (Training Provided)

You will work remotely with support, mentorship, and regular check‑ins. Tasks may include:

  • Responding to customer or retailer inquiries via email
  • Assisting with order support and follow‑up
  • Entering simple information into digital systems (with training)
  • Preparing basic sales or marketing documents
  • Helping organize digital files and records
  • Supporting internal team communication
  • Assisting with light administrative and coordination tasks

Tasks are tailored to your skills and learning goals.
