Job summary

A leading health authority is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide nursing care for Indigenous clients with various health care needs in community and hospital settings. Responsibilities include patient assessments and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. A valid BC nursing registration and experience with Indigenous communities are essential. This role may require travel across Vancouver Island.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years of experience working with Indigenous communities.
  • Knowledge of health and wellness services for Indigenous patients.
  • Valid BC Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, organize, implement, and evaluate nursing care for Indigenous clients.
  • Ensure the maintenance of client self-care and independence.
  • Participate in the administration of all Acts applicable to nursing.
