Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all litigation matters involving STELLA, including drafting pleadings, motions, and discovery documents.
• Develop and implement litigation strategies in collaboration with internal stakeholders and outside counsel.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation efforts and provide legal opinions as necessary.
• Represent the company in court and at mediations, negotiating settlements and pursuing favorable outcomes.
• Monitor and analyze legal risks associated with business operations and provide proactive advice to mitigate these risks.
• Stay updated on relevant legal developments, industry standards, and emerging litigation trends that may impact the company.
• Train and mentor junior legal staff on litigation practices and company policies.

Requirements

• Jurisdictions required: J.D. from an accredited law school with admission to practice in relevant states.
• Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience, preferably in-house or with a law firm.
• Strong understanding of civil litigation processes and procedures.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to articulate complex legal concepts.
