What you’ll be doing

On a weekly basis, visiting volunteers provide companionship, practical assistance and emotional support to clients in their home. Their visits also provide relief to caregivers. Volunteers should be interested in helping others and have the ability to listen, support and validate others in a non-judgmental way. Our social worker matches volunteers with clients and provides on-going guidance to support their visits.

Time Commitment: 2 to 4 hours per week Monday to Friday during daytime hours. Times are arranged to suit both client and volunteer.
