Job description

Overview

A busy professional family in Montréal is looking for a caregiver for three children who will also perform housekeeping and other domestic tasks. Permanent and full-time employment. 40 hours, 5 days per week. Hours: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Salary: 17.88 $/h. Two days off: usually Saturday and Sunday; flexibility is essential as schedules may vary with the employer. Option to stay with the employer at no additional cost.

Languages: French or English.

Responsibilities

• Care for three children and manage related activities as needed
• Perform housekeeping and other domestic tasks
• In the absence of the parents, may care for the house and children as required

Qualifications

• General high school diploma – Completed
• 1–2 years of experience with children or equivalent experience, either through work or studies (e.g., teacher, nurse, midwife, psychologist)
• Punctuality, reliability, good judgment, sense of responsibility, good interpersonal skills, and organizational skills
• Experience with children
