Job title: In-home caregiver. MB, Canada

Terms of employment: This job is for a full-time position (32 to 40 hours per week). Flexible / Split shift work schedule is required. Weekend work may be required. Job start is September 9, 2025.

Language requirement: French or English.

Salary: Wage offered is between $17 and $19 per hour. Future wage adjustments will be made when the First Quartile wage rate change for this field of work in Quebec.

Location: JeCh… lives in the town of Saint Laurent in Montreal, Quebec. The home is situated in a residential neighbourhood, school and parks are nearby. The city bus and the metro are easily accessible and is close by (bus # 128). The major intersection is Rue Bertrand and Rue St-Louis

Duties may include:

• This job is to help with the care of a child age 2 years old.
• Supervision of children when parents are not at home
• Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings to provide amusement and exercise
• Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
• Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development
• Plan, prepare and serve meals for the child. Kitchen clean-up is also required
• Bath infant and prepare infant for bedtime
• General housework that will include doing laundry and ironing
• Dusting rooms to ensure a clean environment

Qualifications:

• Must have completed at minimum Canadian equivalent of secondary school education
• Must have at least one year of work-related experience as a caregiver
• Must be dependable, hardworking, independent, and able to manage the job without supervision
