Job summary

A regional health authority in Winnipeg is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide professional nursing services for patients with complex health needs. The RN will demonstrate leadership within the healthcare team and facilitate patient care and discharge coordination. Candidates should hold a degree in nursing and have strong skills in communication, critical thinking, and the ability to prioritize patient care. Experience in orthopedic or surgical nursing is preferred.

Qualifications

• One year acute surgical or orthopedic nursing experience preferred.
• Registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba required.
• Preference for competency in an Indigenous language and/or knowledge in Indigenous customs.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional registered nursing services.
• Facilitate coordination of patient care and discharge.
