A public transit agency in Hamilton is hiring a Field Support Services Technician. This role involves supporting IT systems across transit facilities, maintaining electronic systems, and troubleshooting issues. Metrolinx is connecting communities across the Greater Golden Horseshoe. Metrolinx operates GO Transit and UP Express as well as the PRESTO fare payment system. The I&IT Field Support Services team is looking for two hands-on proactive Field Support Services Technicians. Youll be part of a dynamic crew that installs maintains and supports IT-based intelligent transportation systems across our stations buses and maintenance facilities throughout the GTHA.
This is a critical field-focused role supporting the systems that keep people moving safely and efficiently.
Term length: 6 months
As a Field Support Services Technician you will play a key role in supporting and maintaining IT-based intelligent transportation systems across Metrolinx properties. Your responsibilities will include:
